Overview
Finca Potosí is one of the historic farms of Café Granja La Esperanza, located in Caicedonia, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. The farm sits at approximately 1,400–1,860 meters above sea level and is known for its long-standing focus on variety selection and experimentation.
The story of Café Granja La Esperanza began at Potosí in 1945, when the Herrera family introduced varieties such as Yellow Bourbon, Red Bourbon, and Caturra alongside the existing Typica plantings. Today, Potosí continues to serve as an important site for experimenting with different coffee varieties and processing methods.
The farm produces coffees through a range of processing methods, including Natural, Honey, Washed, and Anaerobic processes, allowing the same terroir to express itself in remarkably different ways.

Tasting Notes
A naturally processed coffee from Finca Potosí, showcasing a fruit-forward and richly layered expression of the Colombia variety.
The cup opens with vibrant raspberry and grape, followed by a deeper red wine character and a lingering sweetness reminiscent of whisky chocolate. The natural process brings out a generous fruit sweetness and a fuller, more expressive character.
