At Hacienda La Esmeralda, in addition to Geisha and Catuai varieties, various coffee cultivars are processed and evaluated individually each year. This ongoing research aims to identify coffees with exceptional quality and potential. 

This particular coffee is the SL-34 variety, grown at Hacienda La Esmeralda’s Cañas Verdes farm. After harvest, the cherries were transported to Milo at the Palmira farm and slowly dried on drying beds for 55 days.
