  Dilgo is a distinctive Geisha lot from Mima Estates, part of Altieri Specialty Coffee in Panama. Located on the volcanic slopes of Volcán Barú, the lot benefits from high elevation, rich volcanic soils, and approximately 60% shade from guava and mountain cedar trees.

  The Dilgo plot is known for its unique microclimate and careful lot separation, allowing the character of the Geisha variety and its terroir to be expressed with remarkable clarity.

Altieri Specialty Coffee was born from the vision of Eugene Altieri, a New Yorker of Italian descent, who 16 years ago purchased two farms in the Boquete region of Panama. At the time, he had no idea that this volcanic terroir, perched between 1,300 and 2,200 meters above sea level, would become one of the world's most renowned for specialty coffee. Today, the venture is truly a family affair: his children, eleven grandchildren, and his wife Lelia actively participate in the operation and promotion of the brand.
